The Vine is currently focused on building a culture of discipleship and building a seed team.  The seed team is the core group of people who will help the vision of The Vine become reality.  If you are interested in learning more about what it means to be a part of the seed team, please contact Aaron Etheridge via e-mail or phone at 778-668-6366. 

Building a culture of discipleship involves learning to live like Jesus lived with a community of people who all have this as a goal.  We practice the rhythms of UP, IN, and OUT as individuals and as a group.  UP describes our relationship with God.  We encourage each other to journey towards God through prayer, worship, Bible study, fasting, communion, and other practices.  IN describes our relationship with our community.  IN is about walking through life’s ups and downs together.  Eating together, playing, praying, and sharing our authentic selves are examples of IN.  OUT describes taking the good things God gives us and sharing them with the world.  We share God’s love with others only when we’re willing to move beyond our comfort zone towards people we’re not as close to.  Service projects, prayer walks, and neighbourhood parties all are possible OUT events.
